October 2011 Welcome From Club President, Monica Rosevear
The Sundre Gymnastics Club has been established for close to 20 years. Our head Coach Heinjo Lahring is a founding member and remains an important part of the organization through his dedication to the sport and club. Pre-school Head Coach Cynthia Spurrier, has been with the club for 7 years and continues to provide an excellent pre-school & Parent and Tots program.
In 2010 we had 103 gymnasts and the club is still growing with over 115 gymnasts registered this year. Our organization would not function without all of the volunteers that put so much time into the club. Thank you for your participation and we look forward to working with you!
“Gymnastics is a foundation for all sports. It demands a full range of physical and mental attributes and a combination of technical precision, artistry & creativity. Gymnastics is for fun, for recreation, for competition, for education, for excellence, and for personal improvement. Gymnastics is a multidiscipline sport. Gymnastics is for life!”
A New Season

Please review our available Programs. Should you need assistance in selecting a suitable program, please Contact Us. We are most happy to provide our assistance!
Our Commitment
The SGC strives to improve fitness through flexibility, strength and endurance training. The Sundre Gymnastics Club follows the GCG and Alberta Gymnastics Federation (AGF) criteria and goals. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of general and pre-competitive gymnasts and focus on having FUN with gymnastics, gaining FITNESS through gymnastics, and learning sound FUNDAMENTALS of gymnastics.
Award Winning Team
The SGC is proud to have an excellent selection of Coaches for each of our Programs. Each of our coaches are fully qualified to teach their respective classes and are encouraged to further their development by taking upgrading schooling, etc.
